Relaticle's approval-gated CRM or Deskhand for an AI agent?

Relaticle is an open-source CRM (AGPL-3.0, self-hosted or Relaticle Cloud) with a built-in assistant and an MCP server for outside agents. Deskhand is a hosted CRM and email desk where each agent holds its own key and a whole run can be undone. If you searched for a CRM approval queue for an AI agent, these are the two designs you will weigh.

RelaticleDeskhand
Review of agent workThe assistant built into Relaticle proposes each create, update or delete on a card and nothing is saved until you approve. The MCP reference says writes made over MCP apply immediately and the client relies on its own confirmation prompts.Agents write on their own by default and every write is logged, so a whole run is one click to undo. Switch approval on for a workspace (email or all) or for a single agent.
How access is grantedOAuth 2.1 with a consent screen where you choose one workspace; clients without OAuth use a personal access token scoped to a workspace (read, create, update, delete). One key per agent, with scopes, a rate limit, a daily send cap and a pause switch.
Where it runsOpen source under AGPL-3.0: run it on your own server with Docker Compose, or use Relaticle Cloud, priced per workspace.Hosted. Sign in, get a workspace and a key per agent.
Where the agent connectsA Streamable HTTP MCP server at mcp.relaticle.com over OAuth, plus a REST API with a bearer token.MCP over streamable HTTP at /api/mcp and a JSON HTTP API; a bearer key per agent.
What it coversCompanies, people, opportunities, tasks, notes and per-workspace custom fields.Contacts, companies, deals, tasks, notes, and email threads and drafts.
EmailEmail tools exist for a connection given email access: read, draft, and send from a connected mailbox after a hold.Agents draft email; drafts wait in the To send queue in the console.

Choose Relaticle if

You want to own the server and the data, you are happy to run PHP, PostgreSQL and Redis, and the people on your team work in the CRM alongside the assistant.

Choose Deskhand if

The agent is the main user and runs unattended with its own key, you want to revert a whole run from one place, and you want nothing to host.
